Film Analysis:

Throughout his tenure at the University of Florida, Pearsall established himself as the go-to option for his offense. Pearsall has been used in multiple alignments and there has been a concerted effort to get the ball into Pearsall's hands to allow him to make plays. Pearsall has established himself as a reliable option for quarterbacks, showcasing an ability to consistently get open against zone coverages.

From the snap, Pearsall has multiple releases and can win with power or speed and tempo at the line of scrimmage and get into his route. In his route, Pearsall does a good job of mixing his tempo, which keeps defenders from knowing what route he is running. Pearsall is a high-IQ player who understands how to find the soft spots in zone defenses and throttle down to remain uncovered for the quarterback. Pearsall has shown an element of toughness and focus to his game in that he can consistently make catches in traffic and in difficult contested-catch situations where he wins at an elevated catch point. After the catch, Pearsall can pick up yardage with some elusiveness to run through arm tackles or make the first defender miss in space.

The limitations of Pearsall appear to be around his vertical speed. Although Pearsall could be categorized as a playmaker, there are limitations when it comes to him separating on vertical routes. Pearsall's big plays down the field come via him making a great contested catch down the field or him running a great route to get open against a deep safety.

Overall, Pearsall is a prospect who can be a reliable receiving option in the NFL. While his speed may not be elite level, he has shown that his usage as a versatile receiver option can still be effective at a high level, allowing him to dominate in the middle of the field.

Prospect Projection: Day 2 - Adequate Starter
