The Pittsburgh Penguins continued their hot streak Saturday night, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 at PPG Paints Arena to extend their winning streak to five games.
Captain Sidney Crosby added two assists to his season total, while Evgeni Malkin scored the go-ahead goal in the second period. The veteran duo continues to show they still have plenty left in the tank.
Tristan Jarry was solid in net, stopping 28 of 30 shots to improve his record to 12-6-2 on the season.
The Penguins have climbed back into playoff position after a slow start, and the locker room energy is palpable. "We're playing our best hockey of the year right now," said Crosby.
