Nic Anderson NFL Draft Scouting Report

Nic Anderson Scouting Report

Nic Anderson has a nice combination of size and speed to be utilized as a big-play vertical threat while also being a reliable possession receiver in the middle of the field

Draft Grade: Round 4 - Developmental Traits

Strengths:

Alignment-Versatile:The combination of Anderson's size plus his overall athleticism allows him to align at multiple receiver positions and be a highly effective player.

Big-Play Threat:Anderson has a knack for creating explosive plays down the field.

Big Frame: Anderson's overall size makes him a difficult cover for defensive backs. Anderson can use his size to shield defenders away from the ball.

RAC: Anderson uses his big frame to power through tackles but also has lateral agility to evade defenders in the open field and pick up extra yardage.

Concerns:

Attacking the Football: Anderson will often allow the football to come to him instead of attacking it at its highest point. This limits his overall catch radius.

Hands: Anderson needs to improve his ability to catch the ball away from his body. This will increase his ability to make more difficult catches with defenders draped on him.
