Within the tackles, Jaylen Wright is patient to allow holes to develop but lacks the natural agility and vision to identify cutback lanes when present. Physical runner but is often brought down in isolated opportunities. Impressive burst can sneak up on defenders where he can outrun bad angles (Georgia). Long speed is present in the open field. In space, Wright is not asked to run the full route tree but will occasionally elongate a wheel route or snap off an arrow route against man coverage. Extremely willing in pass pro.
Wright currently projects immediately as a rotational change of pace ball-carrier that could also earn time as a return man due to long speed.
